Spring coat!

Dear readers,

Can you believe it is already March!? That means spring is on its way! Don't you love the feeling that spring is nearing? I do. The light is different, birds start singing early in the morning. The light comes through the curtains before nine...
You can just smell it when you're outside. And it doesn't matter to me that it still freezes.

For me, Spring is all about coats and jackets.  I maintain it doesn’t really matter what you wear underneath.  Pop on a great coat and you’re good to go.  I’m not talking about little trench coat; I mean a great coat that will instantly dress up an outfit.

You can’t even imagine how excited I was when I found this beautiful vintage spring coat. The next day I felt like a superhero wearing it with a pair of oxford shoes, baret hat and a brown leather handbag.

I had a wonderful day with my lovely friend Maja. She took all the photos. Follow her work on her facebook page © Angelica Photography

What a find! I stumbled upon her work a few weeks back and it was a pleasant surprise, really talented and gorgeous painter who’s got an amazing future ahead of her. It's Therése Rosier Art.
I emailed Tereza asking her if she would allow me to introduce her and work to the readers of my blog. I was so pleased with her prompt and kind reply giving me her approval!

Thank you so much Tereza, I really appreciate this!

She lived in Prague till she was 21 years old, then moved to Teplice. Art is her full work. Retro/vintage/pin-up/burlesque lover. And here a part of our talk at tea time yesterday...

Idda: Why do you draw and why is it important to you?

Tereza: I love to draw since my childhood and love everything about art. I found my nature and spirit in drawing and painting . Sometimes I can not paint, but when I start with it I always lose my mind, it´s a heartwarming moment for me without thoughts. Relaxing time for my mind and soul... And this moments are important for everyone, but everyone needs to find it in an own way.

Idda: What inspires you the most?

Tereza: I find inspiration in many beautiful things like old vintage photos, 1930´s Czech movies and elegance of womans of these era – this fancy stuff inspires me for my look and my passion for retro – vintage style is reflected in my artwork . So I´m able to browse for hours and hours all kinds of blogs and websites with this theme before I start to paint.

Idda: Your paintings are extraordinary and appear so realistic. What tools do you use to create them? Would you like to describe your creative work process?

Tereza: I use normal round brushes from smaller to bigger size and classic ink pen for details. Practicaly everything I do with watercolors, aniline colors and common ink. Sometimes I used acrylic. At first I draw a sketch, then apply watercolors at wet surface and when it is dry, I use little by little several layers of watercolors with ink and acrylic colors for details . In the end I was completing paintings with abstract splashes and flowing colors. This is the most widely technique that I use.

Idda: Music you listen to while painting?

Tereza: I´m actually addicted in listening to music while painting ! It depends of my actual mood. Sometimes oldschool music like Fred Astaire, Benny Goodman, Elvis Presley, Andrew Sisters, Edith Piaf ( really love Piaf !!!!) sometimes Cocorosie, Dresden Dolls, Parov Stelar, Adele, Ronnie Magri....sometimes Nirvana, old stuff of Marilyn Manson, Korn etc. ....... It´s allways something else...

Idda: You are selling your paintings - tell my readers more about?

Tereza: Art is my employer and painting feed me. So I would love to sell painting in official online shop, but it´s feature - hope not to far. My official website is in progress - there you can find contact to me - but simplest are facebook page for now. There you can find my personal profile and my fan page ThereseRosierArt - there you can write me a message (or write me an email) and we can deal about painting to order according your special wishes or you can choose your favorite painting from my gallery. When I sum it up - find and add me on facebook and write me a message.  You can find information about upcoming website on my FB page too...

Idda: I know it's difficult to pick but which painting by you is closest to your heart?

Tereza: I'm really in love with one of my school pieces - it´s abstract canvas....that my boyfriend fell in love with this piece when we didn´t know each other. This piece in really close to my heart. And otherwise I really like one of my newest piece and it is quick ink drawing od Salvador Dali.

Idda: What would be your ultimate dream as an artist?

Tereza: Positively be very famous of course ;D
I would like to be able to afford luxury and comfort for me and my future husband maybe also our child – all from the money I make with my art. Honestly, that's my main goal.I would like to travel (and exhibit) all over the world. When this wishes come true, then I will be able to say my dream is filled.

Are you as much impressed as I am by these gorgeous paintings?
I would be very pleased to know your thoughts!
To Tereza : ‘Thank you again Tereza, for your approval to use the images of your page! And I do hope that my Bosnian as well as my international readers will appreciate your work as much is I do!’

Hello dear readers,

It was definitely shocked when I checked my email almost two months ago and hello there, an email from Sigma Beauty was waiting to be opened! I have been wanting to get my very own Sigma products. It has been my dream since the time I got into makeups - and yes, DREAMS DO COME TRUE! I finally have my own Sigma brushes.
I was contacted by the lovely Vincy at Sigma to see if I was interested in joining the Sigma Affiliate program, and of course I said yes! I'm in a partnership with Sigma Beauty (also known as Sigma) an international cosmetics company, selling brushes, makeup, skin care and accessories. Big thanks to Vincy and Jennifer from the Sigma Team! As a welcome gift, they sent me a lovely gift - if you'd like to read about my thoughts on it then please do continue reading.

I have recently joined the Sigma affiliates and would really appreciate you all going to their page and checking out all of their fabulous stuff.

I'm the new affiliate spotlight for the month March: http://www.sigmabeautyaffiliates.com/2013/03/20/new-affiliate-spotlight-march/

Have you ordered from Sigma Beauty?
It's not available locally, but you can buy this from the Sigma Beauty website. They ship world wide.
They have lots of great quality and affordable items for anyone from the amateur makeup enthusiast to the professional with an expansive kit.

I have the "Make Me Classy" Sigma Travel kit:

The Make Me Classy Travel Kit was specially designed for a fun yet functional makeup application. This kit contains seven travel-size brushes from our best-selling Essential Kit. The brushes come in an innovative and functional container that turns into two brush holders to keep you stylish and organized on the go.

Brushes Included:

E30 - Pencil: Soften and smoke out lines. Soften pencil liners along the top and bottom lash lines, add shadow to line the eyes or use to highlight inner corner of eyes.
E40 - Tapered Blending: Soft blended crease. Using just the tips to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish.
E55 - Eye Shading: Even application of color. Place color across the whole lid for an even and strong application of product.
E65 - Small Angle: Create precise lining. Moves fluidly and easily across the upper and lower lash lines. Use with gel, cream or powder liners.
F30 - Large Powder: Even powder application. Uniform blending of powder products onto the face and body.
F40 - Large Angled Contour: Subtle cheek application. Use the angle to softly contour the cheekbone. Can also be used to apply blush.
F60 - Foundation: Smooth foundation application. Apply liquid or cream products such as foundation and primer.

The Sigma Beauty Eye Shadow Bases are made with a blendable, smooth formula to achieve a long-wearing and pigmented effect. Each base is designed to reduce surface oil with its water-resistant, silky-smooth and light-weight formula. Each eye shadow base features an exclusive anti- drying protectant lid.

      Persuade - Matte Nude

      Net Wt. 0.18oz./5g

This is the only eyeshadow base that keeps my eyelids from getting oily during the day. I have tried Mac paint pot and it doesn't work on me at all. My eyeshadows would crease before noon! This actually kept my eyelids matt for most part of the day.
The texture is very lightweight and upon application, my lids feels dry and matt and does not feel silky/silicony. It gives my eyeshadow a just applied look all day.
I would repurchase this forever, its really hard for me to find something that works.

It looks perfect for a natural eye look. One the photo nr. 1 I have no make-up on - you can see the difference after putting Sigma eyeshadow base on the photo nr. 2 and nr. 3.

Have you tried the Sigma products? Let me know what do you think about them.

1930's style inspiration

Hello dear readers,

I've fallen in love with the 1930's. My favorite thing about the 1930's is definitely the fashion. Those were the days when every women took good care of their appearance, made an effort to be as well-dressed and presentable as they possibly can, regardless of their wealth or social positions. We always see Rita Hayworth, Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Ginger Rogers etc. on the big silver screen, but what about the everyday women? The women that went to the market, not the movie set?

I love those scarfs, hats but especially the sunglasses...

THE WOMAN IN THE CLOCHE HAT by Arwen Photography

Dear readers,

I have become obsessed with Cloche hats.

Today I am honoring the classic bell shaped hat known as the cloche hat. These hats were wildly popular with the young flapper girls of the 1920s, because they allowed women to tuck their hair up into the hair to give the appearance of having short hair. Short hair not becoming popular until the middle part of the decade.

Like many of the popular trademarks of 1920s fashion, the cloche was invented in France by the famous Parisian milliner Caroline Reboux in 1923. Cloche is the French word for "bell" - were usually made of felt so that they conformed to the head, and were typically designed to be worn low on the forehead, with the wearer's eyes only slightly below the brim. In later years, a summer cloche might be made from sisal or straw. I'm wearing my summer cloche straw hat in black with an ivory flower by http://www.tonak.cz

She is a very talented young female photographer and make up artist from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Check out her amazing work on her facebook page: Arwen Photography.

Me and the lovely Hana Pašić from Arwen Photography.

Inspiration: The 1920s, also known as the Roaring Twenties were a definite highlight in the illustrious timeline of fashion history. For one, it saw the rise of a new type of woman called the "flapper". A flapper was a lady who enjoyed herself and dared to embrace the modern and unconventional.
1920s fashion saw a major change in the way women dressed. Corsets were abandoned and shorter haircuts became fashionable. Hemlines rose to calf length, and in later parts of the decade, dresses were as short as knee length. Waistlines became looser and lower, showing off boyish figures in women. This type of dress was known as the shift dress.
The rise of popularity of cloche hats during the 1920s played a very big role in the major shift in women’s fashion statement. Women from the 1920s already started to wear more casual outfits and loose clothing rather than wearing clothes that are tight that can be physically restrictive. Cloche hats can help in making casual outfits of women from the 1920s to be more stylish. During the 1920s, wherein the use of cloche hats was new, many people find it a type of scandalous fashion statement. However, but once many people already used cloche hats, the fashion statement became more accepted.

Do you wear Cloche hats? What do you think about the Roaring Twenties?

Hello dear readers,

first of all I want to say many many thanks for the lovely comments on my last posts - I appreciate it.
The time of the falling leaves has come again. Once more in our morning walk we tread upon carpets of gold and crimson, of brown and bronze, woven by the winds or the rains out of these delicate textures while we slept. How beautifully the leaves grow old! How full of light and color are their last days! There are exceptions, of course. The leaves of most of the fruit-trees fade and wither and fall ingloriously. They bequeath their heritage of color to their fruit. Upon it they lavish the hues which other trees lavish upon their leaves....But in October what a feast to the eye our woods and groves present! The whole body of the air seems enriched by their calm, slow radiance. They are giving back the light they have been absorbing from the sun all summer.
~ John Burroughs, "The Falling Leaves," Under the Maples

Irregular Choice shoes take vintage styling to new measures with these Bloxy T-straps I'm wearing with this autumn outfit. Born out of London in the late nineties due to an increase in bland neutral tones, this iconic brand is all about individualism, standing out from the crowd and ultimately wearing your shoes with pride. Fusing together a multitude of contrasting colours and patterns, these shoes not only have a lush texture, they also have character - and lots of it! Loud, vibrant and utterly striking, the patterns feature fun polka dots, awesome Aztecs and a vintage style bow. The ankle strap with buckle fastening secures the fit and lends a classic look, whilst the T-bar design is elegant.

The History Behind Sugar Skull Face Painting: Dia de los Muertos

Hello readers,

hope you all had a wonderful October!

I had an amaaaaazing photoshooting with the the best team ever: my lovely photographer Nadja Berberovic Photography, the very talented make-up artist Naida Make up and Artwork and the kindest hairstylist I have ever met Ensar " Hair with charcter ". I always enjoy working with them. Such talented people!

Did you recognize me? You like it?

EntMag has published our Dia de los Muertos editorial - so I decided to share with you the interesting article: The history behind the sugar skull face painting...

Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday that has been celebrated in Mexico for centuries, and has spread to other parts of Latin America as well as the United States and Europe. It is believed that on the night of October 31, the gates of heaven are opened and the souls of angelitos (children who have passed) roam the earth for the day of November 1. Then, on November 2 the gates open once again and the souls of adults who have died visit as well.

Photo/retouch: Nađa Berberović

Petticoat: Lolim Pop - Nermina Trbonja
Corset: What Katie Did http://www.whatkatiedid.com/
Shoes: Metaphysika / Irregular Choice

This holiday is celebrated in various ways according to location. Many celebrations involve going to the graves of passed loved ones, setting up altars (at home and at the graves), and sharing memories of those who have died. The altars can be decorated with photos,
favorite items of the dead, food such as pan de muertos, flowers, and decorated sugar skulls. People often spend the day cleaning and decorating the grave, having meals together, and remembering loved ones. The skull is a commonly recognized symbol of the holiday--not just the intricately decorated sugar skull we all think of today, but traditional skulls too. They can be made of chocolate, sugar, or even worn in mask form. While this sounds morbid to some, it is actually all done with a beautiful lightheartedness, with bright colors and a sense of positivity that is unique to the holiday.

It is from this skull tradition that the increasingly popular sugar skull face painting originated. Celebrators wearing masks during the holiday has evolved and grown into actually painting their own faces. It is seen as a chance to overcome your fear of death, and get in touch with a darker side of yourself. This has often been the role of masks throughout history in every culture around the world--if your real face is hidden, you become a different version of yourself not normally seen. All types of skulls have long been an element used in art, especially tattooing, and the sugar skull is growing in popularity as a tattoo motif as well. Artists explore the meaning of it while the designs become more and more intricate and beautiful.

Many people object to the mainstream, widespread use of sugar skull motifs. They see it as cultural appropriation of something that is part of a sacred holiday, and if you don't belong to the culture or celebrate the holiday then you shouldn't participate. As face painters, this is not a view we quite agree with. While we firmly believe that use of motifs from other cultures should be done with a healthy dose of respect and knowledge of the history of the symbols, we do not think that because we aren't of Mexican heritage that we cannot explore the culture and art. Attitudes like this just promote ignorance and intolerance--education and knowledge are the keys to tolerance. Understanding the traditions of other cultures allows us to connect to others on a human level...

Hope we haven't scared you off? Let me know about your thoughts!? Do you like it?

Lots of love,

Idda van Munster & team

My collaboration with Bésame Cosmetics Europe

Dear readers,

It's official - I am cooperating now with Bésame Cosmetics EuropeI have been dying to try Bésame Cosmetics ever since I first heard about them. I fell in love with the elegantly vintage styled packaging and the vintage inspired lipstick colors and the idea of brightening violet powder.

I´ll do workshops in whole Europe to train you the usage of Bésame Cosmetics based on the beautiness of stars that you all love.

For bookings please direct contact me on my email:   aidadjapo@hotmail.com or at

 Bésame Cosmetics Europe facebook page.

I had my 1st test workshop in my hometown Sarajevo yesterday. It was a fantastic day - learning all about this brand and sharing vintage makeup tips and tricks. Bésame Cosmetics are a vintage inspired brand that use natural ingredients to provide high quality makeup. Created in the US, not tested on animals, made from natural ingredients and organic oils, pigment rich and based on vintage packaging, colours and formulations. The first thing that drew me to the products were the packaging... but... these cosmetics look as good on as they do in their packaging! Very reminiscent of 1920's-1930's makeup packaging. Gold plated (real gold!) with delicate flower etching. It’s a bit of everyday luxury, and very affordable compared to “big” brands like Chanel or Dior.

This is really the most gorgeous range of makeup a vintage loving gal could wish for! I'm in love with the lipsticks. All of the colors are just beautiful. Highly pigmented, long lasting, non drying. The texture is creamy and goes on like silk. I can't believe how long the color lasts. Red lipstick is a tricky one. Your skin tone, condition of your teeth, and of course hair colour will all play a part in determining what colour red looks best on you - if you are interested I can do a special post about all the shades (with photos and details)... let me know.
I absolutely love the compact poweders, brightening violet powder, crimson rouge etc. etc.

Here are some photos from the workshop - telling a little story:

I'm wearing my new favorite shoes by Irregular Choice CHEEKY MOOSE. Find "Metaphysika" on facebook and shop there! The new collection autumn/winter 2013/2014 is amazing!

and the final photo (a part of us):

I'd like to say a giant thank you to Mija Burazerović for taking these wonderful photos. Thanks to the best place on planet Earth - caffee Zlatna Ribica!

Thank you girls for being a part of my little vintage party!

...and in the end: BIG BIG thanks to Besame Cosmetics Europe.

Love you all,

Idda

My 2012 has been an incredible year. Truly. It has had its highs and lows and some amazing memories. Everyone talks about new year resolutions but I’m not going to have one. I never stick to it so what’s the point? I’m just going to aim to be happy and take every day as it comes. I wish you good health, happiness, and success in the coming year and always. The words for next year are balance, harmony, family relations and love. Enjoy the quality of your surroundings and the wealth that all you love can bring you. Dear friends and fans, thank you very much for your support during this year 2012.

Wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013 filled with all that is beautiful!

HAPPY NEW YEAR - my love and I wish all the best to you all!

What I wear when it's cold outside - it's really hard to find beautiful/elegant vintage boots.
Is it for you hard to find vintage stuff for winter?

Frost - every morning.
My winter look inspiration.
Another one winter look - 1930's inspiration.

I’m also wearing the Raw Silk Morticia Corset in Claret(http://www.whatkatiedid.com/product/508/silk_corset), it’s definitely my favourite shape from What Katie Did.

It dramatically takes 4-5 inches off the waist. I’ve teamed up with What Katie Did to offer you 20% off, just enter the code ‘vintagechristmas’ at the checkout. Offer ends the 8th of December midnight!

Goodbye, Successful 2013! Hello, Ambitious 2014!

Oh, 2013, you were so amazing!
I don't even know where to start... I visited lots of new places, met lots of new people, and had so many new experiences, both good and bad. The year always feels like it goes by really fast, but stopping to reflect, it reminds me that a lot happened too. A lot always happens, it’s just hard to remember all of it. There were more good things that happened this year, but the bad was still there.
This was my first official year of being in business full time and working hard for myself: freelance as make-up and hairartist, modeling and acting. I cooperated with amazing brands such as Max Factor, Collectif Clothing, Playful Promises, Seifen Atelier Helena, Glitter Paradise, Avène, Bésame Cosmetics, What Katie Did, Recollection by Sandra Murphy, Ella Gajewska, Anya Caliendo, BHtelecom... worked with the most talented photographers: Claire Rosen from New York, Tom Maurer from Germany, my friend Nadja Berberović, Maja Topčagić Angelica Photography, Nina Mašić, Safet Hadžimusić, MMS studio for wedding dresses Destiny by Merima Halimanović-Bravić, Hana Pašić Arwen Photography and many more. I had my first role in a music video in 2013 for our most popular rock band in Bosnia & Hercegovina - Emir & Frozen Camels (here the link to the song called "Ters Bosanka" (meaning Moody Bosnian Girl). Emir & Frozen Camels ft. Mirza represented Bosnia with their "Ters Bosanka" song in final of Turkvizyon. I was also on stage with the band in front of 300 milions of audience. The contest is an inaugural competition, and was held in Eskişehir, Turkey. For me this trip was really exciting, because I was in Turkey for the first time in my life! I fell in love with Istanbul. If you are interested - I can make a post with lots of photos from my Turkey trip. Emir Bukovica (if you are reading this post) - big big thanks for everything you have done for me!!!
I went to Germany this year too: had a wonderful time in Berlin! I'm the 5th year of my University of Pharmacy and hope I will finish in 2014/2015.

The special highlight of 2013 goes to my cooperation with Irregular Choice Balkans and shop Metaphysika in Sarajevo which is one of Irregular Choice top ten shops in Europe. My engagement with this team of people has been very inspiring and there are some really great plans and commitments ahead of us for 2014. Indeed I remain to be Irregular Choice biggest fan but also you will see me this year working for them even closer.

I am proud to be part of passionate, professional and creative team, always working hard individuals to achieve the best results in such lovely and friendly atmosphere. Big big big thanks to my dearest friends Adnana Handžić and Nađa Berberović!

I have ended the year feeling stronger, empowered and more self loving than ever before and this itself makes the year 2013 worthy in every single minute. There are many people in my life today who deserve much credit for keeping me balanced, grounded, inspired, motivated, encouraged and happy. Thank you, and I do sincerely appreciate your continued support.

Now enjoy the photography taken by Nadja Berbefovic Photography we made for Irregular Choice Balkans.
Happy New Year, Everyone. Thank you for your continued support. I wish you all the best for 2014 and beyond.

Hello dear readers,

This is really my favorite dress this winter. "Grace dress" by http://www.maedchentraum.net/de/
Fall/Winter collection: http://www.maedchentraum.net/de/6-kleider
Almost a classic! By wearing “Grace” you are always dressed well. The splendid neckline, the 3/4 sleeves and contrasting waist conjure a great figure. The pleated skirt beautifully emphasizes the hips. Whether in the office or at a dinner party - for Grace, there is always an occasion!
The variation in forest green is made from 97% wool and 3% Elastan, lined with a black lining of 100% viscose.

The dress is beautiful, simple and elegant at the same time, fits perfectly, and is very flattering. The material and craftsmanship is very high quality.

Hello dear readers,

Yes, I like the winter most of the time.
It doesn't matter where you are, when it snows it's so quiet and peaceful. The air is so crisp and clean. The sunrises and sunsets are just gorgeous. And....I actually love winter dressing! My winter wardobe is very inspired by the 1940's fashion: beautiful coats, hats, gloves, gaytees boots and collars. The classic vintage coat is a great way to keep warm in the cold weather and look great at the same time.

Earrings, coat and bag: Vintage
Boots: Görtz

What do you wear in winter?

Secrets In Lace is the worlds premier supplier of authentic 100% nylon stockings, elegant vintage lingerie, garter belts, girdles and bullet bras. Their products are worn by the worlds most famous and influential people. Dita Von Teese also has her own stocking collections available for purchase from  Secrets in Lace. She is the world's most celebrated stockings wearer. Only they know what lays beneath their classically elegant attire......their "Secrets In Lace" - https://www.facebook.com/secretsinlace.europe
 www.secretsinlace.eu

Secrets in Lace Fully Fashioned Nylon Stockings are manufactured on the same machines used in the 1940's and 1950's.  Their stockings are authentically styled and often run off of patterns from the 1950’s. Nylon stockings with a denier of 15, their Signature RHT stockings come in a variety of colors (black, beige coffee) with stylish - and sexy - welts in complimentary colors. They also come in 5 sizes, ranging from Petite to Opera length.
Remember... Keep The Romance Alive!

1st stockings: Dita's Diamond Backseam

This is Dita's personal favorite for the Red Carpet! And it is no wonder with all the unique detail in this Diamond Backseam French Heel Full Fashioned Stocking. It is a masterpiece in every sense of the word; it takes hours to produce the intricate detail of this exclusive stocking. The Black welt has a fine Ivory Picot around the top, the black foot and diamond backseam contrast with Beige or Grey leg made of 15 denier ultra sheer nylon - Add our super soft finish and Dita's world famous logo and you have a fully fashioned stocking like no other.
Fabric Content: 100% Nylon; 15 Denier

I've been wearing these stockings all day and they haven't fallen down, laddered or disappointed me in anyway. Fully fashioned nylons are so sensual.

2nd stockings: Vintage Dot RHT

Secrets In Lace is the only company in the world who makes this dot pattern in 100% vintage nylon. We believe that the classics never go out of style! These stockings are smooth and light, making your legs look smooth and shapely. They've made these out of 100% 15 denier non stretch nylon and given them our famous Reinforced Heel and Toe treatment - also added our Secrets In Lace imprint on the welt for an extra touch of vintage detail. These stockings come in a wide array of colors and sizes, so there is literally a pair for everyone! Try classic black to spice up an every day work outfit, grey for an extra touch of sophistication, or white to go under your favorite summer dress. NEW COLORS: Black Leg - Grey Welt - Grey Dots (Select Black-Grey), Beige Leg - Black Welt - Black Dots (Select Beige),Grey Leg-Black Welt-Black Dots (Select Grey-Black)
Fabric Content: 100% nylon; 15 Denier

I wear vintage, fully fashioned, seamed stockings every single day. I usually wear an open bottom girdle to hold them up but if I'm dressing more casual, I'll wear a garter belt instead. For me, though, "casual" means a summer dress or skirt and blouse.

When you want to look sexy - or feel sexy - I think stockings add just that right touch...

3rd stockings: Dita Glamour French Heel

This stocking is Dita's personal favorite and she wears this style at every opportunity. The Dita Glamour, with its contrasting colors, makes this Full Fashion stocking truly .. Glamorous! The Welt and foot are black with either a grey leg or beige leg. The French Heel treatment and Dita imprint on the welt add to the authentic nostalgic details.
Fabric Content: 100% Nylon
Made In: Imported
Colors: Beige, Grey

4th stockings: Vintage Diamond RHT

Once again SIL created a true classic. Made of 100% 15 denier non-stretch nylon, these Reinforced Heel and Toe stockings have a subtle diamond pattern. The Secrets In Lace imprint on the welt adds to the authentic nostalgic details.
Fabric Content: 100% Nylon 15 Denier

I love the glamour of wearing stockings and suspenders; as soon and I put a pair on I’m transported to a bygone era where style and romance reign supreme.
If you are a lover of fully fashioned nylon stockings then you'll want to add some of these Secrets in Lace stockings to your collection. Shop at: http://www.secretsinlace.eu

Do you wear fully fashioned or RHT stockings every day? Do you feel comfortable by wearing them?

I personally enjoy how much more feminine they make me feel.

Let’s celebrate love and friendship every day!

Valentine's Day is just another day to celebrate love. Love comes in many forms, shapes, and opportunities 365 days a year, 24/7. The red hearts make us feel like love and happiness is all around, but Valentine's Day should be every day! Every day you should show your love and appreciation for each other in some way. An extra-long hug, a cup of tea/coffee, a smile, a phone call to say "I love you"… the list is endless. These little things go a long way and usually make your heart smile. That's how you keep romance alive. And, you should wear more than often the color of love: RED! Red is the colour of a heart & also roses - it signifies warmth & love. Throughout history, red has been the color of passion and romance. Red lips and blushed cheeks stimulate admiration and arousal. A red dress attracts attention and captures the imagination.

I'm personally wearing very often red: earrings, dresses, cardigans, lipsticks, my nails are usually red and I love to add an interesting RED hat/fascinator to the whole outfit.

For the first outfit I decided to wear the Hearted-Cherry Fascinator by Jazzafine Pieces Full of Verve from Germany.

Hairstyle/Make-up by me

Yummy! And opulent ... A heart-shaped hat with love Allerlei: cherries, various springs in leaf green and poppy red, a double velvet bow from orig. Velvet ribbon from the 1960's.
A Fascinator, which could be premiered on Valentine's Day, but this reminds you every day or for other special occasions at one of the finest and most important things in life ...

The next one headpiece is called: Chapeaulina!

The names of the ChapeauLinas are the songs of Billie Holiday. And this here is "big stuff": Pure passion - Night Black and Burgundy Red. A lush fabric rose with a freshwater pearl in the middle, with elegant fine feathers.
Fine veil - birdcage - in black, with dots - on a black flat fascinator. Attachment with comb.

And...the last one is Valentins Camelia Set 3 Roses called "Billies goes Jazzafine":

Valentine's Edition: made from special satin!

The flowers of Billie Holiday in juicy colors!

Delicate & very elegant. Opulent flowers in hair - beautiful in the bun or loose hair. The camellia, Billie Hoidays wore it so often.

As simple as it is, this flower suits almost all the dresses - whether tulle, lace, crepe or satin.
